Here we introduce Tomomi Taoka, one of the artists of HOLBEIN ART FAIR 2022 2nd.
Tomomi Taoka
I get tired of wearing the same clothes. I do have my favorites, but I still find myself craving even a slightly different flavor. I always want change, a little spice. By changing, I want to keep betraying my own "signature." And yet, that signature can itself become a part of the whole. A small shift in balance can completely transform how something is seen. The coordination of assembling such complex materials, information, and parts one by one is something you can never play out to the end. That is why it is fun. With that same sense of styling, I handle my materials and paint a picture. I build it.
