When I think about what expression is unique to me, the first thing that comes to mind is my family, followed by the environment in which I grew up. Individuals are formed by the DNA inherited from their parents and the influence of things they have been exposed to from birth to the present. I believe that all of these are a series of irreplaceable things, and in my work, I emphasize the importance of having fun freely. By not being bound by (social values), (plans and meanings), (feelings of superiority or inferiority), the things that form me become other colors and shapes, which naturally appear on the screen. There is life, there is flesh and blood. Creation is a dialogue between the artist and the work, like a mutually changing phenomenon. When you view the work, please feel free to experience it in your own way.

[Staff Comment]
From their power and momentum I sense the budding of life and a beauty like that of mineral ore. The use of color and every single brushstroke is so distinctive that I can't stop imagining what each work might represent! (Kawahara)
