The motif is based on the Randa Dragon King, who is the number one of the eight Great Dragon Kings and is also the 28 members of the Thousand-Armed Kannon. "Randa" means "happiness and joy" in Sanskrit. Since ancient times, humans have been creating and worshiping Gods and Buddhas by replacing them with human shapes. Randa Ryuuou is one of them. This is depicted based on the image of the Dragon King's childhood. Instead of pre-made canvas, we use original canvas, which is made from a linen fabric with a base agent (chaku background) mixed with glue and glue, and is stuck on the panel. The sides of the canvas are deliberately not applied to the base material, but instead use the linen fabric to preserve the warmth of handmade items. The drawing material is made of oil paint.
Additional Information
Instead of using ready-made canvas, I use original canvases made by applying a base coat (chalk ground) made from glue to linen fabric and then stretching the fabric over a panel. The sides of the canvas are not primed, leaving the linen exposed to preserve the warmth of a handmade piece. Oil paints are used for the painting.
