「ℏシリーズ」では、ICチップとして切り出される前のシリコンウエハー（半導体）を粉砕して素材として使用しています。半導体は、現代の情報社会を支える一方、原子や電子などの私たちの直観とは著しく乖離した微小な世界の性質を応用して開発されました。ミクロな原理がマクロな社会の根幹を支えているという逆説的状況を通じて、現実世界を構成するものの不可解さや人間が理解し得ることはほんのわずかであることを表現しようとしています。 角度や距離によって虹色に変化する半導体と黒地で宇宙的世界観を演出しつつ、樹脂による鑑賞者の映り込みで、奇妙な成り立ちの半導体に囲まれる人類を映し出そうとしています。
