Announcing “The World of Yumiko Igarashi Inspiration Exhibition with Caroline-chan 55th Anniversary”!
plus art co.,ltd (English name: plus art co.,ltd; headquartered in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Taku Nitta), a company built around the theme of enjoying art, is pleased to announce that—together with STA Inc. (located in Kita-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Osamu Kanda), which produces exhibitions in Japan and abroad, and MONSTAR design Inc. (headquartered in Sapporo, Hokkaido; Representative Director: Manabu Kato), which operates businesses spanning website development, planning and design, gelato manufacturing and sales, and talent production—it will hold the contemporary art exhibition “The World of Yumiko Igarashi Inspiration Exhibition with Caroline-chan 55th Anniversary” at ＋ART GALLERY on the 14th floor of Shibuya Scramble Square.
■What is “The World of Yumiko Igarashi”
“The World of Yumiko Igarashi” is a project that shares the works of manga artist Yumiko Igarashi—from her newest pieces to past masterpieces—in a variety of forms. Produced by MONSTAR design, it began from the wish to pass her wonderful works on to future generations.

■Introducing the highlights of “The World of Yumiko Igarashi Inspiration Exhibition with Caroline-chan 55th Anniversary”!
① Exhibition and sale of Yumiko Igarashi’s original drawings (View the works)
To commemorate the 55th anniversary of Yumiko Igarashi’s artistic career, precious original drawings will be exhibited and sold in limited quantities. We offer a chance to see in person the original artwork of Yumiko Igarashi, whose works such as “Candy Candy” and “Georgie!” took the world by storm through anime broadcasts and manga releases in countries around the globe. (Some works are planned to be sold by lottery.)
② Special collaboration works with Yumiko Igarashi to view, purchase, and experience
“Caroline-chan,” who produces art direction, costumes, maid cafés, photo studios and more for entertainment-related shoots, will present a special booth and works expressing the world of Yumiko Igarashi. In addition, collaborative works with internationally active artist Junna Maruyama will be on display. A limited collaboration original drawing newly created by Yumiko Igarashi for this occasion is also scheduled to be shown within ＋ART GALLERY.

As a special program marking the 55th anniversary of manga artist Yumiko Igarashi’s career, we will exhibit and sell not only the original drawings of her many masterpieces, but also works inspired by Yumiko Igarashi, created by contemporary artists rooted in their own distinctive expression.

■About ＋ART GALLERY
＋ART GALLERY (hereinafter “the Gallery”) is a POP UP GALLERY held at commercial facilities and department stores across Japan. Last year, it ran for six months from March 1, 2021, presenting some ten programs that let visitors experience art from a variety of angles—not only featuring contemporary artists such as Nanae Mitobe, but also casting figures from other fields, such as Ai Niina, for its exhibitions. With an open, welcoming atmosphere as our priority, the Gallery aims to discover and nurture artists and collectors, and we will continue to plan and produce selling exhibitions in collaboration with partners across a wide range of industries, not only on our own.
