+ART GALLERY presents "Hello +ART Tokyu Plaza Shibuya," the opening exhibition at Tokyu Plaza Shibuya
plus art co.,ltd (head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Taku Nitta), which builds its business around the theme of enjoying contemporary art, will hold "Hello +ART Tokyu Plaza Shibuya," featuring a total of 40 artists, on the 3rd floor of Tokyu Plaza Shibuya at +ART GALLERY, and is pleased to announce the artists exhibiting in Week 1.

+ART GALLERY, which has run its gallery for three years on the 14th floor of Shibuya Scramble Square in the heart of Shibuya, is beginning a new chapter on the 3rd floor of Tokyu Plaza Shibuya inside Shibuya Fukuras, a new commercial complex in Shibuya.
+ART GALLERY will continue to hold curated exhibitions that aim to grow the community of people who enjoy collecting art and to support artists' careers.
As the first of these, we will hold "Hello +ART Tokyu Plaza Shibuya," featuring a total of 40 artists. The exhibition runs for four weeks from Monday, August 7, with 40 artists in all taking part. The artists for each week will be announced from time to time on our social media and website.
Week 1 Artist LINE UP (August 7 – August 13)
ichiniho / Kota Tonoike / Veronica Tsudo / Shoko Hirose / Johdai Watanabe / Jun Suzuki / Shota Nakatsugawa / Karin Okoso / neuronoa / Hoki / SAKAMOTO ENTERTAINMENT / Ayaka Torimoto (in Japanese syllabary order)
Twelve artists/groups in all take part, including neuronoa, who has been involved with +ART GALLERY since its earliest projects and has a solo show coming up in September; Shota Nakatsugawa, whose popularity is growing through exhibitions abroad and beyond; Karin Okoso, who works across a wide range of formats including modeling and art direction; and Shoko Hirose, who draws on a distinctive Japanese culture in her work, with a background that includes video-game character design.
Week 2 Artist LINE UP (August 14 – August 20)

This week's program will include works to enjoy not only in two dimensions but in three as well, featuring Yoichiro Otani, who has won numerous art awards in recent years for expressing landscapes through characters; Ayame Higuchi, who, while still a student, energetically presents her work in a variety of exhibitions; Won Jacky, whose distinctive needlework has won wide popularity; and Sadahito Imai, whose finely detailed skill has led to a collaboration with Pokémon and other acclaimed work.
Our own roster of accomplished artists will be on view, so even though it falls during the Obon period, please stop by if you have the time.
■Week 3 Artist LINE UP (August 21 – August 27)
SOMETA / Erika Nakanishi / Shiori Fujimura / Kotaro Otsuka / Karin Morita / Ko Kikuchi / NAGMO / Sato Mikaku / Shu Kanazawa
Nine artists/groups in all take part, including SOMETA, who exhibits both in Japan and abroad; Kotaro Otsuka, who carefully renders his "world of black" and is steadily gaining popularity at ART OSAKA and across Tokyo; and Shiori Fujimura and Karin Morita, young artists drawing attention.
■Week 4 Artist LINE UP (August 28 – September 3)
IKU→ / OLI / ryota / Shinobu Suzuki / Gotoudai / Kiyoo Otaki / Beniko Choji / Shinya Okuma / Maiko Yoshizawa
Nine artists/groups in all take part, including Maiko Yoshizawa, who, with a background in Japanese-style painting, creates grand works and has exhibited at venues such as the Pola Museum of Art; Kiyoo Otaki, who makes works to enjoy with both eye and mind through the use of optical illusions; Shinobu Suzuki, who turns leather carving into art; and Gotoudai, who is active as an actor in productions such as Kamen Rider while energetically taking part in solo and group exhibitions in recent years.
