EXHIBITION
From Saturday, April 19 through Monday, May 19, 2025, JAPAN ART BRIDGE in Akihabara / Manseibashi presents a solo exhibition by artist Saccarrani Ai.
The show brings together paintings that portray the artist’s roots and fragments of everyday life through vivid color and dynamic composition. Exploring the many “connections” found in culture, emotion, and custom, the works quietly send ripples through the viewer’s heart.
Come experience the “now” of Saccarrani Ai in an exhibition space that merges with the arches of the historic mAAch ecute Kanda Manseibashi.
ABOUT Saccarrani Ai
Born in Tokyo in 1987.
Influenced by his father, an oil painter, he grew up close to painting from an early age.
His work composes a wealth of elements—geometric forms such as repeating circles and squares, dynamic brushstrokes, and soft backgrounds of plants and clouds—in the artist’s own vivid palette.
Beneath the surface lies a deep respect for family and regional culture, along with the carefully woven “texture of living” found in everyday moments.
Through painting, sculpture, and other forms of expression, his works cast art’s light onto “daily life” itself, leaving a warm yet keen impression on the viewer.
mAAch ecute Kanda Manseibashi “JAPAN ART BRIDGE”
JAPAN ART BRIDGE is operated as a joint venture led by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).
Under the concept “Art experiences that fit naturally into daily life,” it offers a variety of art experiences including exhibitions, workshops, and guided tours.
JAPAN ART BRIDGE is based at mAAch ecute Kanda Manseibashi—the former site of the old Manseibashi Station, which once flourished as the terminus of the Chuo Line and has a history of more than 110 years, older than Tokyo Station itself. In the Edo period, it was also a cultural and transport hub where the Kanda River crossed two major highways. Starting from this place of historical and cultural significance, the project continues to expand its art activities by drawing on the facilities and surroundings of the JR East Group.

Works will go on sale from 11:00 on April 19 at the venue (mAAch ecute Kanda Manseibashi “JAPAN ART BRIDGE”), on a first-come, first-served basis.
