1. Profile
Artist name: Bond Tominaga
Profile:
The world's only painter who works with woodworking glue ("bond"). Born in 1983 in Fukuoka City, he now lives in Taku City, Saga Prefecture. His creative theme is "connect, create." Through live painting, he seeks to share the joy of painting freely with as many people as possible, and to bring richness of heart and life into everyday Japanese society—this is the purpose behind his practice. Because the role of his Bond Art is to connect people with people, every motif in his abstract paintings is, in fact, a human being.
2. The Works
Every one of Bond Tominaga's works is made with glue; the glistening colors and the thick, raised lines of bond give off an especially powerful aura.

3. Why We Love Them
Hang one of his Bond Art pieces, crafted in lustrous black glue, and it will without a doubt bring an accent to the space and lend it real power.
Powerful, and built on the theme of "connecting people and paintings," his work truly draws the viewer in and gives a genuine sense of being—quite literally—"connected."
