At first, I wanted to paint a completely different piece, but while I was painting, I started singing "Stay Blue" in my head, and that's what inspired me to create this piece, using only blue to express feelings of loneliness and hope.

It is finished using only two shades of blue, and subtle hues are expressed simply by changing the amount of water.
