古来より「七転び八起き」の象徴とされる達磨をモチーフに、異形の三つ目を加えることで、新たな視点を提示した作品です。 三つの瞳は「過去・現在・未来」を見通す力を象徴し、達磨を単なる縁起物の域から、悟りや超越的存在へと昇華させています。 舌を出した表情は、人間社会の矛盾や欺瞞を見透かしながらも、それを嘲笑うかのように挑発的です。 伝統的な日本画の技法とポップアートのエネルギーが融合し、背景に施された金箔がさらに神秘性を際立たせています。 「三目達磨」は、単なる願掛けの対象ではなく、私たちに「本当に見るべきものは何か？」と問いかける存在でもあります。
