Since I started the challenge of "evoking the flow of money in society" at the age of 39, I have been traveling on roads without paths. During that time, it has been 15 years since I have been in a mix of things, both good and bad, happy and sad, all at once. Thinking about it, I continue to travel through waves that are mixed with brightness and darkness, like those between waves that start after jumping out of the picture (the situation before I jump out into the sea), but beyond that, I am beginning to see Oumahara, a very rich, calm, and shining future. I tried to depict such a journey in a picture.

Work description: Since I started the challenge of "evolving the flow of money in society" at the age of 39, I have traveled on an uncharted road. During that time, I have experienced good and bad things, happy and sad things, all at the same time, in 15 years. When I think about it, I have been on a journey in the waves, with light and darkness mixed together, like the waves that began after I jumped out from under this painting (the situation before I jumped out into the sea), but now I am beginning to see a very rich, calm, and bright future for Omahara. I tried to express such a journey in a painting.

He founded the Japan Fundraising Association with the aim of "evolving the flow of money in society." He serves as Japan's vice-chairman of the Global Steering Group for Impact Investment, vice-president of the Graduate School of Shizenkan University and director of the Impact Economy Center. He continues his journey to promote donations and impact investment, and beyond that, to make Japan a pioneer in problem-solving.
