ABOUTExhibition
<Production Method>
Using mainly silk, dyes and silver foil as materials and the traditional dyeing and weaving technique of Yuzen dyeing, I create and develop two-dimensional paintings based on motifs of scenes and landscapes I see and feel in my everyday life.
<Comment from the artist>
“I wanted to create some artwork again after a long time, so I decided to resume my creative activities.
Although he tells people around him that he is not without creative endeavors, he says that he doesn't have the time and is busy with work.
I was ashamed of myself for not creating anything for over 15 years, using various excuses.
I retired when the COVID-19 pandemic was lifted, and over the past few months I have been able to set up a creative environment and present several pieces.
At the moment, I am only making things that I want to make and things that I want, so I may not be able to show them to everyone, but I would be happy if you would take a look and enjoy the experience.
I look forward to seeing you all there.”
