Concept & Series
The aim is to free words into a world that is simultaneously and directly accepts from the orderly-based syntactic and logical constraints of traditional character combinations, and to generate new poems. In the work "ki/u", the rain was depicted by placing countless kanji characters based on the syllables "ki" and "u". The syllables of the word "kiu," which means rain prayer, are used as the starting point, and while connecting with existing words such as "kiu," "kiu," "kiu," "kiu," "oni-ra," "rain season," and "rain season," further derivatives have been used to select about 50 kanji in the end. As Ernest Fenorosa called Kanji "thought-picture," kanji, which have been making the writing system more complicated over a long history without rationalizing it, contains nature, human figures, things and emotions in its shape. Kanji released from line lines exist simultaneously in the work, and have the possibility of connecting with all kanji on the same plane. The kanji encounters one another through connections within the viewer's gaze, creating all kinds of inspiration. The work is presented as a place in which the forms, syllables, and meanings of kanji interact and intertwines, and kanji resonate with each other through prayer images.

Artworks require careful, protective packaging, and the dimensions and insurance fees vary with each shipment, which makes it difficult to determine the shipping cost in advance.
For this reason, at the time of purchase we present only the price of the work and consumption tax; the freight-collect shipping fee is communicated by email when the work is dispatched. Given the nature of artworks, we ask for your kind understanding.
Intended for customers outside Japan
For international orders, import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
