山口県 青海島の自然研究路で出会った、洞窟を抜けたところの海岸の風景を描いています。切り刻まれたような硬い岩に自分の抱える苦しみを投影し、その先の海を望むような絵にしたいと思いました。下地は吸収性のものを使用することでマットにし、絵の具を擦り込むことで全体的に湿度を感じるような質感に仕上げています。額装せずにも飾っていただけるように、側面の処理もしています。岩の表現にはシルバーを使いました。
