The mandarin oranges appear many times in memorable scenes, and have left an impression on me. My great-grandmother loved mandarin oranges. When he died, he put a lot of mandarin oranges in his coffin so that he could eat them in heaven. After cremation, all the colorful things turned into achromatic ash and bones, and only the mandarin orange ash placed around my face had a beautiful Bordeaux color, and I thought that even after death, orange still gave us color. In 2021, we completed a work called Flavedo, which uses orange skin to make leather. When hundreds of orange peels were dried, I noticed that the mandarin orange peels were unfolding and the shape of them gave off a very attractive look. A flat-drawn mandarin orange was traced, and two types of traces were interlocked. We selected attractive items from 10,000 pieces and created them.
