「神」という霊的存在を無意識で感じるアニミズム精神において、食材を観察し、 私なりの解釈を通して絵に起こすことで、その食材を感覚的に消化吸収をする 過程を表現しました。 作品には、モチーフとなっている食材が実際に画材として使用されています。 キャンバスに描画した後に、描かれている食材の一部を、干してミルミキサー で粉末にしたり、燃やして炭などに加工したりして、エポキシレジン(二液性 合成樹脂)に混ぜて画材として使っています。 実物を\料理する\"ように作品に取り入れています。 そして、黒い背景に映り込んだ鑑賞者の姿と、消化吸収して自分の肉体となっ ていく食材の姿。二つが重なって観えるようにすることで、より食材を消化し て吸収するという行為を意識しました。"
