私は、影に強い興味があります。
空気感や匂い、感情といった当時の記憶が、画面の中でぐるぐると対流のように巡る感覚を重視しています。
光に絵の具を盛ることで影を生み出して、影の部分を削ったりしながら光を作り出していく。こういった循環、相互作用のような緊張状態の中から、実物の形が見えてくる画面作りを心がけています。
