Plus Art Co., Ltd. (English: plus art co.,ltd., location: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, representative: Taku Nitta), a company that operates a business based on the theme of enjoying contemporary art, will hold a group exhibition titled "UP AND COMERS Vol.3" of young artists who are in their 8th year or less since their debut and are currently attracting attention, at the +ART GALLERY on the 3rd floor of Tokyu Plaza Shibuya from April 29, 2024.
After three years of operating a gallery on the 14th floor of Shibuya Scramble Square in the heart of Shibuya, +ART GALLERY will be expanding to the 3rd floor of Tokyu Plaza Shibuya in Shibuya Fukuras, a new commercial facility in Shibuya. +ART GALLERY will continue to hold special exhibitions with the aim of increasing the number of people who enjoy art collections and supporting the careers of artists.
The third "UP AND COMMERS"
This exhibition focuses on "promising young artists who have been active for less than eight years" who are of interest to Plus Art staff, and is a place where you can experience the "art world of the future" created by these young artists.The first and second exhibitions were both very well received, and we have decided to hold a third exhibition.
This will provide an opportunity to bring together works that were created using free ideas and a variety of techniques. The works on display strongly reflect the messages, passion, and ideas of the artists, and will stimulate new perspectives and sensitivities in those who view them.
In addition, by participating in the exhibition, the artists themselves can receive a lot of feedback on their work, which will help them to further develop. This exhibition will support young artists who will lead the art world in the future, and will serve as a place to widely introduce their talents, so we hope that collectors and those who are considering starting a collection will also come and visit.
Please come to the venue and experience the power of the works filled with the real thoughts of young artists recommended by Plus Art staff, who are highly motivated to work but also have concerns and conflicts about the future. We look forward to seeing you there!
