レシートは消費社会におけるささくれのようなものである。 全国で1年間に消費されるレシートの量は約5 . 4 万トン、コピー用紙1 3 5 億枚分と言われていいます。多くのレシートに使用される感熱紙は、熱を与えると黒くなる特性により印字される紙ですが、長期保存に向かない素材でもあります。また、多くの木や水、科学薬品が使用され、感熱紙であるレシートはリサイクルすることができません。当たり前に資源や時間を使いすぎていたことすら忘れていないだろうか。"記憶のリサイクル"をコンセプトに、消費社会の記憶を見つめたい。レシートの内容を手がかりに浮かび上がった像を、熱を与えて描く。不要なレシートに新たな価値を与えたい、という思いから日本全国からSNS等で呼びかけ、レシートの収集、制作を行っています。
