While working with leather, a certain feeling arises within the artist. A sense of "Mottainai". "Mottainai" means that the original form of the object has been lost. It is like a message to the artist himself. Just like in "The Butterfly Dream", am I also in a state of "Mottainai"? In order to remember this and to be able to restore the original form, he creates "idols" that represent the original value waiting to be awakened.

The leather was cut so that at least some of its original shape remained, and then shaped into a hemisphere to give it a shine, expressing the state in which something old is reborn as something new, and regaining its original value. One of the hemispheres is made of glass. I created this piece with the hope that, in the process of appreciating the whole piece and discovering one of them, it will remind the viewer that countless inherent values ​​are contained within it.
