何かを簡単に説明することに怖さを感じています。短い言葉で語る能力を持っていません。作品一点についてさえ、関わる事は複層的で、僕はそうであるべきだとも感じていて、時間の中で制作するという事はそういった事との共同だとも感じています。 2024年現在、それまで無自覚にも信頼し夢見たかもしれないものに対する失望があります。血だまりの世界史はいつまで続くのでしょうか。近代の反省とはなんだったのでしょうか。絵画史を輝く眼でまた見る事ができるのでしょうか。 この「絵」は、2023年の東京の辺境で、まるで絵画に憑りつかれた日記の一部の様です。すべてを拒否する事が出来ないこの「場所」で、何か小さな亀裂を探していたのかもしれません。
矩形の中での主従の関係を、鑑賞者がいる空間を含めた関係に対しても持ち込むきっかけを探そうとしている様に思う。この絵は、視覚混合的にイメージを結合する能力について考える事をきっかけにしていた様に思う。
