空が晴れていても不穏なもの感じる時がある。人の表情はうまく読み取れず、その気配とシルエットが私を見ているように感じる。そういった日に出くわすと、まるで寝ている時に見る夢のようにも感じる。いま私が見るメディア類、映画や漫画、インターネットなどは、どれもフレームが存在する。そのことから、絵にもフレームを付け、視覚的にどのような効果ができるのか試している。そして、一つのキャンバス内で異なるシーンを分割して描いているが、それを一つの絵として成立させるために、木のシルエットを全体にはめ込む。複層的な画面を作り出すことによって、より焦燥感や落ち着かなさを強めている。

Even when the sky is clear, there are times when I feel something ominous. I can't read people's expressions well, and I feel like their presence and silhouettes are looking at me. When I come across such a day, it feels like a dream I have when I'm sleeping.
The media I see now, movies, comics, the Internet, etc., all have frames. For this reason, I also frame my paintings to see what kind of visual effect it can produce. I divide different scenes into separate parts on one canvas, but in order to make them work as a single painting, I fit the silhouette of a tree into the whole. By creating a multi-layered screen, I am able to intensify the sense of irritation and unrest.
