We are pleased to announce that from Monday, September 12, 2022, WON_Jacky will hold "We Are The Bear," a first solo exhibition focusing on teddy bears under the concept of "plush toys that came from a Wonder Dimension."

■About Solo Exhibition
Teddy bears, loved the world over. Here they are reimagined as offbeat, distinctive teddy bears that have come from a "Wonder Dimension."
Showing and selling teddy bears of unforgettable charm and high finish, this exhibition is the first solo show by WON_Jacky and the culmination of an artist who has worked mainly on collaborations and made-to-order pieces.
This solo exhibition, "We Are The Bear," becomes a playful, wondrous space filled with these distinctive teddy bears. Alongside WON_Jacky's own original teddy bears, teddy bears created in collaboration with other artists and apparel brands will also be presented as works.
We will also take orders - limited to 30 bears - for "Memory-Teddy," an art project that gives cherished clothing you can no longer wear new life as a teddy bear, to be treasured for years to come!

■ About the Made-to-Order Project "Memory-Teddy"

"Memory-Teddy" is an art project that gives a beloved garment you can no longer wear new life as a teddy bear, so that you can treasure precious memories for years to come.
- Clothes filled with the steps of childhood

- Clothes you dressed your innocent pet in
Why not preserve these memory-filled materials in the form of a "teddy bear"?
We hope you will enjoy the one-of-a-kind experience of sublimating various memories - children's clothes, baby clothes, kimono, a wedding dress, and more - into a teddy-bear artwork that is unique in all the world.
○ How to Apply
Applications are limited to 30 people, on a first-come, first-served basis.

○ Pricing
Size S (W20cm × D13cm × H21cm): ¥30,000 (excl. tax)
Roughly one adult-size T-shirt, or about four pieces of baby clothing.
Size M (W30cm × D23cm × H31cm): ¥50,000 (excl. tax)
Roughly two adult-size T-shirts, or about six pieces of baby clothing.
Size L and above: from ¥75,000 (excl. tax)
We will discuss and produce these individually upon consultation.
○Memory-Teddy HISTORY
"Peahawk" Kimono Teddy Bear_memoryyteddy
I was so happy when the client was delighted to receive a teddy bear made from a treasured kimono bearing a family crest and beautiful embroidery. It was also memorable when someone had one made from "clothes their mother used to wear," gave it to their mother as a gift, and she was overjoyed.
Children's clothes are each packed with memories, so they are always warmly received.
Teddy bears that show a different expression depending on the materials combined.
Paired with leather, they take on a cool air; in soft, pale tones, a gentle mood. Do also look out for the little details, such as the teddy bear's claws expressed with zippers.
