Introducing Ko Kikuchi, an artist of HOLBEIN ART FAIR 2022 4th

Working primarily in abstract and semi-abstract painting, the artist layers in paper and cork while using vivid color. In 2021, he was chosen to create the cover art for a novel written by Daiki Kanechika of the comedy duo EXIT.

1994 Born in Higashimurayama, Tokyo
2015 Withdrew from the Department of Education, College of Arts, Rikkyo University
2020 Graduated from the Oil Painting Course, Department of Painting, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts
2021 Entered the Master's program in Art Education, Department of Aesthetics and Art History, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. Currently based in Tokyo. Exhibition history

Using a wide range of colors, these works spark the viewer's imagination. I found them full of energy and movement, a real pleasure to look at.
