I created typography based on the statement of Yu Yamamoto, the curator of this exhibition.
In other words, this poster is referring to the exhibition itself.
In addition, since the text mentioned ``I want to do chanbara'', the final form was rolled into a cylinder.
In order to treat allies and enemies fairly when using chambara, the letters do not specify the direction.
There are two types of base materials, and the composition of the typography differs.
Fluorescent paper emits light like a lightsaber, and transparent film allows you to read the letters inside the rolled-up tubes.

Shin Akiyama
1963 Born in Niigata Prefecture
Visiting professor, Department of Painting, Printmaking, Tama Art University, Professor, Department of Visual Design, Kobe Design University.
Since the mid-1990s, he has designed numerous art and architecture books and exhibitions.
Currently, he runs ``edition.nord'' and is involved in not only design but also publishing activities.
