Plus Art Co., Ltd. (English: plus art co.,ltd., location: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, representative: Taku Nitta), which operates a business based on the theme of enjoying contemporary art, will be holding the "HOLBEIN ART FAIR 2024" at the +ART GALLERY on the 3rd floor of Tokyu Plaza Shibuya from May 13, 2024, in collaboration with Holbein Art Materials Co., Ltd. (location: Higashiosaka City, Osaka Prefecture, representative: Yoshio Kawami), a global art supplies manufacturer with a history of over 120 years.
The concept of the exhibition is " Possibility of painting ."
What is the "HOLBEIN ART FAIR"? 
Holbein , the leading comprehensive art supply manufacturer in Japan, launched the " Holbein Scholarship " scholarship program in 1986 to support young artists, and in 2023 will mark its 36th anniversary.
This scholarship program has produced many internationally active artists, including Takashi Murakami and O JUN, and it continues to be a stepping stone for artists today.
"HOLBEIN ART FAIR" is produced by +ART GALLERY and has been held in collaboration with Holbein since 2021. "The scholarship supports the recipients by providing them with art materials (paints, etc.) equivalent to the amount of the scholarship, but until now there has not been a specific venue for them to present their work." Therefore, the fair is being held with the aim of supporting the scholarship recipients to come together as artists and present their "current" works.
This marks the third time the program is being held, and it will feature a wide variety of participants, including not only those from the most recent 35th (2022) and 36th (2023) scholarship programs, but also those from the 2000s.
