世界三大コミック(日本漫画、アメコミ、バンド・デシネ)の中で日本漫画のみページを右から読む。加えて余白の概念や空気を読む習慣など、日本人ならではの感性が日本漫画には凝縮されている。この絵の構図はそういった概念を詰め込んでいるが、日本漫画への教養の有無で見え方が全く異なると考えている。
