My aim is to liberate words from the syntactic and logical constraints based on the order of conventional typesetting into a world where they can be accepted simultaneously and directly, and to generate new poetry. In his work ``ki/u,'' he depicts rain by arranging countless kanji characters based on the syllables ``ki'' and ``u.'' Starting from the syllables of the word ``Kiu'', which means praying for rain, and connecting it to existing words such as ``Kiu,'' ``Kiu,'' ``Juu,'' ``Demon rain,'' ``Rainy season,'' and ``Rainy season,'' further developments were made. Eventually, about 50 kanji were selected through derivation. As Ernest Fenollosa called kanji ``thought-pictures'', over a long history the writing system has not been streamlined and the kanji have become more complex. contained in the shape. Kanji freed from lines and lines exist simultaneously in the work, and have the potential to connect with all the kanji on the same plane. When the kanji characters meet each other in the viewer's line of sight, all sorts of inspirations are born. The work is presented as a place where the forms, syllables, and meanings of kanji interact and intertwine, and where kanji resonate with each other through the image of prayer.
