Here we introduce Ayaka Hatsu, one of the artists of HOLBEIN ART FAIR 2022 1st.

Ayaka Hatsu
Born in Tokyo in 1995.
Completed the first half of the Master's program in Oil Painting, Graduate School of Art and Design, Tama Art University, in 2020. She captures, with vivid immediacy, the exhilaration of the moment she faces the canvas and lands her brush. By allowing pleasure (beauty) and displeasure (ugliness) to coexist without opposing each other, she expresses a stance of embracing all manner of contradictions.

Ayaka Hatsu's works are distinctive for their sense of movement and the visible motion of the brush—the powerful energy makes them so striking 🎨 The works have a dynamism that radiates an energetic force 💪
The movement and faint dryness of the brush, and the way the ink pools, are all part of the work and add a wonderfully cool quality! Be sure to look closely when you visit the venue.
