この作品「餓鬼」は、人間の果てしない欲望と無邪気さを同時に描いたものです。 青い顔には子供のような純粋さが宿る一方、三つの瞳と垂れた涎は、満たされることのない深い飢えを象徴しています。 その飢えは、単なる食欲にとどまらず、愛情や承認を求める現代的な「心の渇き」までをも含んでいます。 三つの瞳は、過去・現在・未来を見渡す視座を持ちながら、それでもなお満たされない人間の本質を示しています。 口元から垂れる緑の涎は、執着と欲望の痕跡であり、永遠に続く渇望を暗示しています。 背景に使われた金箔は、一見すると高貴さや神聖さを感じさせますが、実はその奥に潜む欲や煩悩を照らし出すための舞台でもあります。 頭に生えた角は、可愛らしさの裏に潜む「鬼性」や本能的な攻撃性を象徴しています。 「餓鬼」は、誰の中にもひそむ無垢と貪欲、そして終わりのない欲求を問いかける存在なのです。
