「東京」シリーズの作品です。街が常に動き続け、建築され、破壊され、修復され、継ぎ足されて再構築されていく様、完成がなく、街全体が工事中であったり取り壊され、再構築され、複雑に進化進行している様子を普段生活の中での情景や、乗り物に乗って移動している際に感じ観ている風景を表現しています。友禅染めの技法を用いて染めた絹を2枚、重ね張りしています。染めた生地の支持体に燻して色を変化させた銀箔とテクスチャーをつけた木工パネルを使用しています。

This is a work from the "Tokyo" series.
The city is in a constant state of flux, being built, destroyed, repaired, added to and reconstructed; it is never complete, with entire towns under construction, demolished and reconstructed, and constantly evolving in complex ways. This is expressed through the scenes we see and feel in our everyday lives, or while traveling by vehicle.
Two pieces of silk dyed using the Yuzen dyeing technique are layered on top of each other. The dyed fabric is supported by silver leaf that has been smoked to change the color, and a textured wood panel.
