Artist: Sae Komiya
Profile:
With "vitality" as her theme, she renders with care and delicacy the forms born of nature—animals, plants, minerals—and the beauty of their inherent colors. Drawn to the delicacy, grace, and transparency of the traditional craft technique of "shippo" (cloisonné enamel), she creates cloisonné works meant to feel approachable in a contemporary setting.
