幼少期と青年期をアメリカとシンガポールで過ごす。上智大学卒業後、ゴールドスミスカレッジを卒業。
現代水墨画家の影響から宣紙や和紙の素地の風合を生かしながら、伝統的な技法だけに囚われない独自の抽象表現を探究。自身の体験に基づいた東洋と西洋が融合された作風で活動中。
