Geoffrey Bouillot（ジョフレ・ブヨ）は、1990年にフランス・シャロン＝シュル＝ソーヌで生まれ、2011年より東京を拠点に活動している現代アーティストです。

彼の作品は、「機械」と「人間」のあいだの緊張感をテーマに、形を組み立てたり分解したりするモジュラー的なプロセスで構成されています。大量生産されたような外見でありながら、すべての作品は完全に手作業で描かれており、機械的な精密さと人間らしい痕跡のあいだにある対比を際立たせています。

ブヨは、ポップカルチャーを取り入れた賑やかな表現と、より静かでミニマルな作品のあいだを自由に行き来します。前者は消費社会の騒がしさを、後者は内面の純粋さや静けさを象徴しています。彼は特定のスタイルに縛られることなく、「内なる動き」に従って制作を続けています。

彼の作品は、中国のXiao Contemporary Museum of Artや台湾のTainan Art Museumに収蔵されており、Sotheby’sをはじめとする国際的なオークションや、世界各地の著名ギャラリーで展示されています。

Geoffrey Bouillot (born 1990, Chalon-sur-Saône, France) is a contemporary artist based in Tokyo since 2011.

His work explores the tension between the mechanical and the human, where forms are assembled and disassembled like modular components in a larger system. Though his aesthetic may resemble something mass-produced, every piece is painted entirely by hand, emphasizing the contrast between cold precision and personal gesture.

Bouillot moves fluidly between vibrant, pop-inflected compositions and quieter, more minimal works. One reflects the noise of image-saturated consumer culture; the other, a search for purity and calm. He doesn't follow a style, but an inner movement—his practice is rooted in evolution rather than repetition.

His artworks are included in the collections of the Xiao Contemporary Museum of Art (China) and the Tainan Art Museum (Taiwan), and have been shown in exhibitions across the world, including collaborations with prestigious galleries and international auction houses such as Sotheby’s.
