PROFILE
福岡県出身。
2010年から俳優活動を行い、2021年より言語を超えた表現を求め絵画によるアーティスト活動を開始。
「Invisible Sloth (不可視的ナマケモノ)」をコンセプトに、怠惰や憂鬱からくる心象風景を可視化させ、絵を通じて鑑賞者が自分自身と向き合うための作品を制作している。
怠惰や憂鬱な感情(=ナマケモノ) は、 私たちに常に付き纏い、 行動を遅らせ後悔を募らせる。しかし怠惰は時に心を回復させ、 憂鬱な感情は自分自身をより深く知るきっかけになると私は考える。
この作品によって自身のナマケモノを再認識し、 忙しい日々の中で立ち止まる勇気を与えたい。
アイコニックな目元の仮面は、 動物のナマケモノの目のくまをモチーフとし、仮面を通して見える白の人間は心の中に潜む理想の自分を表す。
絵の前に鑑賞者が立つ時、 ナマケモノを媒介して現実と理想の対面構造となる。
