These works express the subtle feelings of their figures. Up close, you can see the artist uses the scraping of paint to reveal an English-language newspaper underneath 🎨 The cut-and-pasted, scraped depictions convey an unsettled heart, and you can feel a forceful, almost imploring power emanating from the works. Among them are pieces with electrical components attached and others featuring colorful flower collages — well worth a close look 💡
