Introducing HOLBEIN ART FAIR 2022 4th artist Kimi Sakaki

Takami Sakaki

He depicts the existence (icon) of "children" along with various objects as a vessel of expression and a mirror-like device. Has held numerous exhibitions both domestically and internationally. In parallel with presenting his works as an individual, he formed the creative unit S+N laboratory. Expanding the range of activities in other fields. In 2019, she also published a collection of her works, “KIMI SAKAKI twinkle.”

I mainly draws children (as an icon) with various elements, as a vehicle of expression or a device like a mirror. I had many solo exhibitions at home and abroad, and also have been active in alternative fields forming a creative unit "S+ N Laboratory." In 2019, I published "a book of collected works" KIMI SAKAKI twinkle."

List of works by Kimi Sakaki▽

[Exhibition view]

It is delicately drawn as if it was a transfer of the pattern, and has a mysterious charm!

The pop and bright colors give a bright impression!

[Staff comment]

This work is by Kimi Sakaki, who is known for her ephemeral colors and warm paintings. Planet 3, which has a pop atmosphere, has bright colors reminiscent of the death of a skeleton, so I felt it was a cute work with a cheerful image. Twin3 has a warm texture, but the girls lined up symmetrically and the regular patterns of the clothes give a mysterious impression, and I thought it was a wonderful work. (Fujinuma)
