[Author introduction] Nana Matsumoto

Introducing HOLBEIN ART FAIR 2022 2nd artist Nana Matsumoto

Nana Matsumoto

I primarily create using planes, paint, objects, stories, images, and space. Reconstructing the causal or irrational relationship between images and things along with the problem of painting.

[Exhibition view]

Pale works lined up on a white wall

I feel calm when I see the feathers and trees swaying in the wind ☺️

[Staff comment]

The hazy, blurred expression gives it a sophisticated yet rustic feel. Many of the works are related to the moon, and you can tell that they are conscious of connections within the screen! You can also feel the gentleness of nature in the works that connect wood and stones with soft threads! (Mogi)
