Born in Nara Prefecture.
Completed doctoral course at University of Tsukuba, Graduate School of Life and Environmental Sciences.
Researches cancer and immune mechanisms, with a focus on mitochondria.
After obtaining his doctorate, he studied at the Shiga Prefectural Shigaraki Ceramic Technical Research Institute and the Ishikawa Prefectural Kutani Ware Technical Training Institute and became independent as a ceramic artist. A work of self-expression using a hybrid of clay and glaze that was uniquely mixed, Kutani ware techniques, etc. based on the themes of the proliferation of cells and the strength and dynamism of cells that impressed me during my research life. produced. Major exhibitions in recent years include 3331 ART FAIR and KOGEI Art Fair Kanazawa.
Currently an assistant/part-time lecturer at Kanazawa College of Art.
