[Author introduction] Rika Morishima
Introducing Rika Morishima, the 2nd artist of HOLBEIN ART FAIR 2022
Rika Morishima
My works are created by photographing and painting collages using magazine clippings and images from the internet. Her work alternates between improvised collages and paintings that are both bold and delicate.

Works with a sense of unity
By lining up in a row, it feels like a piece of art that is all connected.
[Staff comment]
The hazy, blurred expression gives it a sophisticated yet rustic feel. Many of the works are related to the moon, and you can tell that they are conscious of connections within the screen! You can also feel the gentleness of nature in the works that connect wood and stones with soft threads! (Mogi)
