I am attempting to simplify and abstract the complex patterns of the iris, lowering the resolution to the limit. By converting the information and characteristics of the motif into symbolic colors and shapes, I encourage the viewer to supplement the information in their mind. I believe that the flat surface of acrylic paint helps this, allowing the original individuality and presence that strongly radiates from the subject to be perceived with more reality.
