洞窟の壁画から始まった絵画は、時代の変遷とともに支持体や表現手法などを変え続けています。 私は「デジタルなもの・物質を伴い存在するものとの境界が曖昧になっている現代だからこそできる絵画へのアプローチ」をコンセプトにした作品を制作しています。 この作品は額縁の表面にデジタルで制作した絵を出力したアクリル板をはめ込み、額縁の内側に銀色のシートを貼り反射が活かされるような構造にしています。

Painting, which began with cave murals, has continued to change its support and expression methods over time. I create works based on the concept of "an approach to painting that is possible in this modern age, where the boundaries between digital and physical things are becoming ambiguous." This work is structured by fitting an acrylic plate with a digitally created image printed on it onto the surface of a picture frame, and pasting a silver sheet on the inside of the frame to make use of the reflection.
