Kenichi Sugimoto
Born in Hokkaido. Artist, designer.
Based on the concept of "INSPARABLE INSTINCT," the instincts that lie within humans are expressed in the form of animals. The raw instincts and boundless energy of childhood gradually fade as we grow older. However, there are times when we suddenly become emotional or act according to our instincts. This inseparable wild instinct is depicted by fusing humans and animals.
In 2020, while working as a designer, he started his career as a writer after publishing a picture book.

This exhibition brings together 10 diverse and up-and-coming artists with the aim of allowing viewers to update their sensibilities and foster new values through art. "SYNESTHESIA" in the exhibition title refers to the sense of sensing colors in letters and sounds, and sensing shapes in tastes and smells.
