After graduating from Tokyo Dental College in 2007, he conducted research on intractable orofacial pain (OFP) at Tokyo Women's Medical University Hospital and Aarhus University in Denmark, where he developed a sensory testing device for the orofacial region. He is a recipient of the IADR Wiley Blackwell Neuroscience Young Investigator Awards 2015 (Boston). He is currently enrolled in the Digital Hollywood University Graduate School.
