I also believe that facing a person's "face" head-on is like a mirror that reflects one's current situation. The accumulation of brushstrokes that explore the state of a person's existence becomes a "distant self-portrait" that is almost like a drawing of oneself.

Painting a picture is like facing oneself, and also like facing someone else.

Just when you think you have a grip on them, they shake you off, or betray you. They take their time, repeatedly conversing with each other, aiming for an uncertain destination. On the screen, strokes are added with a sense of speed, impatience, and lightness.

The angle of the brush stroke, the direction of the flow, the pressure with which the brush is placed - depending on these elements, the expression changes, and little by little, the space surrounding the "figure" and its image begin to appear. The clear gradation and accumulation of linear strokes appear like reflected light or a dazzling moment of light.

I search for a sense of floating in my swift brushstrokes, and by going back and forth between looking and painting, I become immersed in the experience of painting.

The time and feeling felt like it went by in a flash.

Something that will eventually be buried.
