This gesture was not originally defined by gender, but over a long cultural transition, it has become a symbol of femininity from the Buddha's mudra. I sense in this gesture the separation of gender constraints from the limitations of the body, and through the symbol of "orchid finger", I strive to convey the contradictions of gender that are deeply rooted in particular cultural backgrounds.

[Exhibition history]

Group Exhibition

2023 Guangzhou "Splendid Craft Art Fair" Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou
2023 Kyoto "Public Art Project" Teramachi Kyogoku Shopping Arcade Museum
2023 Kyoto "Resolution of Mental Images" Special Exhibition Myorenji Temple
2023 Kyoto "Colors &
