It grew out of the realization that, \"through our scholarship we provide support in the form of art materials such as paints equivalent to a stipend, yet until now we had offered no dedicated venue for the recipients to present their work.\" The fair was thus created to support these scholarship artists by bringing them together to present their work as it stands \"today.\"\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe theme of this edition is \"\u003cstrong\u003ePossibility of painting\u003c\/strong\u003e.\" Holbein is one of Japan's foremost art-supply makers, dealing above all in paints as its core product. The exhibition gathers artists who push the limits of what paint as a medium can express in art, and who pursue the very possibilities that paint can reveal.
