After working as a creator of music, design, and video while wandering through more than 30 countries around the world, neuronoa began creating art in earnest in 2021. Building on the concept of the "information society," the artist paints abstract portraits of well-known figures such as musicians and actors. By abstracting the subjects to the point where their expressions can no longer be read, the work asks what "true information" means in our information society. Reaching beyond the boundaries of art, neuronoa is actively involved in projects across a wide range of genres, both in Japan and abroad. Out of a wish for the viewer to always focus on the work itself, the artist consistently keeps their nationality, gender, age, and face private.
