Chihiro Oka
I have been engaged in production activities with the aim of drawing the boundary between the spiritual world and the real world.
Invisible places are very appealing in fiction.
I believe that by depicting this in a semi-abstract expression that blends with reality, it is possible to express something close to the purpose. By composing a color surface with ambiguous texture using human figures that can project one's self and the graininess of mineral pigments, he attempts to express a space where the reality of the self and the fantasy of the surroundings intertwine.
