支持体づくりと絵画制作を一続きの営みとして行い、その過程で生まれる現象や痕跡を手掛かりに風景を立ち上げている。
この実践は、絵画を「イメージの再現」ではなく、「物質が作用しあう場」として捉える姿勢に基づいている。
イメージと物質、規則性と偶然性、生成と消滅のあわいに立ち現れる風景を通して、物事の在り方を問い直している。
